Ok I know it's been a while, but we are back and ready to go.
SASPI has an investigation this Saturday in Phoenix. Now that we are on Twitter you can follow us during our investigations. It should be fun. Take care and keep your mind open.

Last night was Halloween and we had a little fun. Not many kids came by for us to scare but we tried our best.
We did the Ak-Chin Halloween Carnival a couple of weeks back and we had a blast. There were quite a lot of people there and we were asked some very good questions. We showed off out EMF detectors, KII, and flash lights. The kids got a huge kick out of the dowsing rods. So now that Halloween is over I look forward to Thanksgiving and Christmas. So let me be the first to say "Happy Holidays!"

It's official. SASPI will make an appearance at the Ak-Chin Halloween Carnival on Oct. 23 from 6 to 10 PM. The event will be held at Milton Antone Park in the Ak-Chin Indian Community. To get there you go south on highway 347 turn right (west) on Ferrell and the park is on the left side. We will be showing videos from past investigations, playing some EVPs and giving away CANDY! This is a fun event. They have games, food a DJ, costume contest and a haunted house. Last year we had a blast at this event. If you're in our neck of the woods please stop by and say hello.
Speaking of haunted houses. The Maricopa Marching Band is putting on this years Fall Fevtival. There will be games, food, kids corner, costume contest and a haunted house. All peoceeds go to the Maricopa Marching Band. I will be helpping out with this event so if yoiu see me say hello. From what I am told they are going all out with the haunted house.
We are in the process of setting up an investigation in Sierra Vista. This should be a good one. Keep coming back to check for more information.

Nothing new in the SASPI world. But it's hard to believe that we are in the last quarter of the year. SASPI is gearing up for some Fall outdoor investigations. Hopefully all goes well and we get some great stuff. Halloween is coming up and Haomer and I are planning some really scarry stuff for the children of Maricopa. If we can we would like to have a booth again at the Ak-Chin Halloween Carnival. It was fun last year so we would like to do it again this year. That's all for now. If you have any comments please write to me at DEChavez@SASPI.org

This past weekend Homer and I Joined PAST of Arizona in a ghost hunt / class at the Double Buttes Cemetery in Tempe. About 15 people showed up for a wonderfully hot night of learning and hunting. I thought it went well. Everyone was into it and eager to learn. The night started out with everyone sharing one of their personal experiences with the paranormal. Then we broke off into smaller groups to investigate the cemetery. Despite the heat and the size of the cemetery we all had a good time. There were not really any defined students or teachers becasue we all learned from each other and, I believe, grew together. I hope to be able to this sort of thing again because it is always nice to meet new parafriends and have a chance to learn from others and continue to grow.

Now speaking of PAST of Arizona. It is sad to announce that PAST is no longer. On Saturday the team has been retired by founding member Liz Martin. But the good news is that I am happy to announce that Liz and John Rowe (another past member of PAST) had joined SASPI. The addition of Liz and John add many more years of experience to SASPI and from them and with them we can all grow bigger and better together. So help me welcome Liz and John to SASPI.
